Trauma Healing Workshop
Our vision for the Whole-Body Trauma Healing Workshop for Therapists began as a mission to curate an immersive event where mental health professionals have the opportunity to prioritize their own self-care, hold space for one another, and build a community of support amongst themselves. Attendees learned how trauma is held in the body, and how to release it using modalities like somatic IFS, breathwork with reiki, massage, acupuncture and nutrition.
This workshop was the first in a series of ongoing workshops and retreats, so be on the lookout for details on the next event!

Spring 2022 - Trauma Workshop
Immerse yourself in a day of learning, experiencing, and connecting with your inner self while building community with likeminded people. Allow yourself to let go of all that no longer serves you in order to manifest your best life. This will be a heart opening & healing experience.
This workshop is for therapists to develop tools to better help their clients by understanding the importance of treating the whole-body, not just the mind, to fully heal from trauma. You will gain understanding of the importance of doing your own inner work and engaging in self-care, and the impact this has on how you show up with your clients and in your life.
Whole-body trauma healing comes from the holistic psychotherapy framework which holds that a person's consciousness is not housed in any one part of the person, but is instead an integration of the mind, body, and spirit. Practitioners of holistic psychotherapy look at the body as one entity to help people heal and thrive on a much deeper level. This workshop will provide a comprehensive understanding of how trauma is held in the body, the process of somatic IFS, and the relationship and importance in utilizing psychotherapy and holistic treatments to heal the whole person.

“Of all the things trauma takes away from us, the worst is our willingness, or even our ability, to be vulnerable. There's a reclaiming that has to happen.”
